A Day At The Palace

Estudiantes en el Jardín del Palacio del Catete.

Today’s Rio Live was Palácio do Catete. Things got a little complicated as we discussed art, architecture, and the political history of Brazil. But what a magnificent place. After wandering around the palace and attempting to read about the exhibits, we ventured into the garden and had a relaxing time talking about Rio, food, our own cities, and whether we wanted babies.

As always, Sylvia’s energy helped to keep us engaged throughout the day – even if it is a little mentally exhausting by the end!

Ready to know the history of Brazil

In this RioLIVE! We got to know a little more about the history of Brazil right here in Rio de Janeiro. We had a day at the Palace! We visited the Catete Palace halls and rooms learning more and more about the whole history it carries. In the end we stroll through the Palace gardens relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunny afternoon! What a day at the Palace!
