The visit to Botafogo was very nice, even though the day was a bit grey, being able to visit Flamengo beach and Botafogo cove was a very interesting experience, the views, the turtles in the sea and the walk practising Portuguese with my schoolmates is always good!

Visiting Aterro do Flamengo and Botafogo Beach on a gray day offers a unique, peaceful perspective of Rio. The overcast skies bring a calmness to Aterro do Flamengo’s green spaces, perfect for a quiet stroll with views of Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf Mountain. Similarly, Botafogo Beach, less crowded in the gray light, provides a moody, cinematic backdrop of Sugarloaf against the rolling waves. It’s a chance to appreciate Rio’s beauty in a more introspective, tranquil way.

Diogo,
Chris
