Gestern stand der Besuch der Forte do Leme auf dem Programm. Entlang der Strandpromenade von Copacabana ensteht ein schoenes Gefuehl der Vorfreude auf die bevorstehende Aktivitaet. Die Forte do Leme liegt auf einem Huegel, der ueber einen kurzen Pfad durch den Wald auch in Havaianas zu erreichen ist. Begleitet werden wir von einer Schar “micos”, kleinen Aeffchen, die alles andere als scheu sind. In der Forte do Leme erwartet uns eine spektakulaere Aussicht ueber den Zuckerhut, die Copacabana und die Favela Babilonia. Ein interessanter Kontrast zwischen Arm und Reich. Kurz vor Sonnenuntergang begeben wir uns auf den Weg nach unten – wir freuen uns auf morgen!

We had a very good afternoon at Forte do Leme. Actually our Portuguese students visited Forte do Leme. A very nice military fort that is located at the top of a hill. We started this RioLIVE! walking up the hike inside the forest and seeing some nice little monkeys that came to say hello to us. When we got at the top, our students were amazed by the view that this place can offer, they could have views of Pão de Açúcar and Copacabana beach, also they had more contact with their little friends that were coming by for some good pictures. Nice for an afternoon at Forte do Leme.
