Urca fue genial. Un barrio extraordinario, hermoso y tranquilo. Una actividad repetible que tiene todo vista, mar, vegetacion, historia, tranquilidad, arquitectura y mucho mas. Ahora ya acostumbrado a estas visitas que organiza la escuela, con instructor, planificadas y que todos disfrutamos.
The neighborhood of Urca is located at the south part of Rio de Janeiro. It has Morro (mountain) da Urca that is a very nice touristic place to visit, Morro (mountain) do Pão de Açúcar and Praia Vermelha. Besides that, it has institutions such as UFRJ, UNIRIO and Benjamin Constant Institute, among others.
We left school and we went to Urca, starting at Praia Vermelha. Our Portuguese students from Germany, Spain, Ecuador, England and Japan. And after the beach we walked around the streets analyzing the contrasts among modern and old houses. We also took some pictures of Guanabara’s Bay.
