Brazilian Pão de Queijo
Pão de queijo is one of the most delicious food in Brazil and it is from Minas Gerais. It’s described as a small, baked cheese-flavored roll and also a cheap snack. You can buy it in every lanchonete.
How to make Brazilian Pão de Queijo
Ingredients
1 colher de chá de sal | 1 teaspoon of salt |
100g de queijo Parmesão | 100g of Parmesan cheese |
2 ovos | 2 eggs |
2 xícaras de polvilho azedo | 2 cups of sour starch |
200g de queijo branco | 200g of white cheese |
1/2 xícara de óleo | 1/2 cup of cooking oil |
1 copo de água | 1 glass of water |
1 xícara de leite | 1 cup of milk |
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
Beat the dough for a few minutes at medium speed until it smooths out.
Take small pieces of it and make little balls.
Transfer the balls to a baking pan and bake them for 30 minutes.
Eat them while warm.
