If there is one thing you should least try once while you’re in Rio, it’s a Samba class. RioLIVE! organised an afternoon lesson with the bubbly Castrinho. while it felt like we all had two left feet for the first few minutes, it was all fun and laughs for the next hour. We picked up the very basics by the end of the lesson, with the clear MVP being Rory.

Carnival starts this week! Nothing better than having a carnival warm up learning how to dance samba with RioLIVE! Our Portuguese students were really excited to learn this traditional Brazilian rythm since they are really looking foward for Carnival. They started a bit shy, learning the basic steps, with time and patience they could learn and dance like really Brazilian dancers. Take a look on the video below:
