Clouds, Botafogo and Portuguese

Ce lundi nous sommes allé dcouvrir Botofago, qui est un quartier tres sympatique loin des sentiers battus habituels de Coppacabana et autre Ipanema. En arrivant dans le quartier on est surpris par la douceur de vivre. Les gents se retrouvent dans la rue pour jouer aux cartes ou tout simplement discuter a l ombre des arbres; mais le vrais intéret d aller jusqu’a Botofago c est la vue magnifique sur le Pain de Sucre que l on découvre en arrivant sur la lagune. Un vrai plaisir des yeux. On se proméne les pieds dans le sables face a une vue 360 degrés sur le Pain de Sucre, la lagune, Botofago et Niteroi. Bref que le temps soit de la partie ou non, une superbe idée pour une chouette aprés midi carioca.

Clouds, Botafogo and Portuguese. That was our RioLIVE! at this time, our Portuguese students visited one of the most beautiful and interesting places of Rio de Janeiro, Enseada de Botafogo. Even with a lot of clouds in the sky, the weather couldn´t bring our students down and they were still really excited to see this place.

Our Portuguese students from Venezuela, Mexico, United States, France, Switzerland, Japan, Sweden and Philippines started this RioLIVE! at Praia do Flamengo, a very nice and calm place, great to run, practice team sports or even take a walk, it was also very nice because they could have an overall view of Pão de Açúcar, Urca and Niterói. We continued our activity walking around the place, with each step, the students were gettting even happier and surprised because even with the clouds, the place and views were still fantastic.

We finished our RioLIVE! at Enseada de Botafogo, where our students could take some time to talk and get to know each other a little bit better, everything in Portuguese, of course. We are totally sure that they loved this RioLIVE! and they surely will be back in Botafogo and the other activities that we have.
