Example about daily routine in Portuguese
Let’s see a small text that describes the daily routine of a carioca. Let’s read the text below:
Translation of the text
Everyday I wake up at 7 in the morning, get up, take a shower, get dressed, have breakfast and leave my house to go to work. I always go to work by bus. Commuting takes roughly 30 minutes. At noon I have lunch and talk to my colleagues a little bit. We usually go to a restaurant close to work. I work until 5 in the afternoon. I always catch a packed bus on my way home. When I arrive home, I have dinner and after that I practice sports at the gym. The gym is very close to my house, so I go and come back on foot. After the gym I eat a sandwich and drink an açaí with banana. Usually, I go to sleep at 10 o’clock at night.
