Dinner at Feira de São Cristóvão
Last Friday, with new friends from all over the world, we traveled to Feira de São Cristóvão. Because of its history, we were able to experience many of the foods, products, culture and dance prevalent in the northeastern regions of Brazil. This was a wonderful, unique and fun experience. The best part for me was the music and getting a dance lesson with Moisés! I love Forró!

Last Friday we take our students to have dinner at Feira de São Cristóvão. We had a picanha de sol and these is very salty meat we drank some caipirinhas in order to not get too thirsty. Our student Nadine from US was the only one that was confident enough to dance Samba. She danced with her husband and with our Coordinator Moisés, two very good forró dancers 😉
Our student Greg explained to us that after months without drinking alcohol as he finished his athletics competition of the year at Porto Alegre, he was able to drink. So he didn’t get the last one on ordering caipirinhas.
We were a group with students from US, Colombia, Australia and Denmark. As we were enjoying dinner we were getting together and we started to do funny pictures. It was very nice to get to know each other and to have a nice time. See our pictures below 😉
