Morro Dois irmãos!! es siempre mi actividad de RioLIVE! favorita, esta actividad esta llena de risas, bromas y muchooo pero mucho sudor, pudimos dejar de lado la ciudad para disfrutar de aquella favela llamada Vidigal, que esta compuesta de arte y comidas deliciosas, para despues comenzar nuestra verdadera trilha en la cual vimos animales como monos, pajaros, arañas, al llegar a la cima fuímos recompensados por esa hermosa vista en la cual pudimos apreciar la hermosa ciudad de rio (zona sul).
Yesterday we spent our afternoon visiting
Dois Irmãos and Vidigal. We gathered at
Rio & Learn (
Portuguese language school in Rio de Janeiro) and went to the favela Vidigal to complete our thrilling challenge to do the Dois Irmãos hike. At the beginning of our
RioLIVE! our students were amazed with the opportunity to see a favela.
Vidigal is one of the most touristic favelas in Rio deJaneiro these days. We took this opportunity to speak Portuguese, talking about the pacification process of the favelas in Rio.
Soon after we got to the beginning of the hike. But before starting our challenge, we stopped to eat some fruits. Our student Leon had gone to the fruit market and brought fruits to our
RioLIVE!. On our menu we had caqui, guava and banana. After we were all fed, we faced the
Dois Irmãos hike. For some students it was a bit exhausting, but no one gave up. When we got to the top, everyone agreed that it was worth our effort. The view was incredible and charming. We took many pictures and met other foreigners. Our students taught some Portuguese words to those people. It was amazing to see Dois Irmãos and Vidigal.
