We went to Niteroi yesterday, it was a fun day out and good to see the Oscar Niemyer Museum. The museum was designed by Oscar and is a landmark and handsome feature which offers stunning views of Rio de Janeiro, Pao de Açúcar and Christ the Redeemer.
We went by metro, bus and boat! It did not take too long to get there and was free to enter the museum. There is a lot of shopping to be done in Niteroi and there are also beaches to relax on. We stopped for some ice cream and açai, it is difficult to resist the many opportunities to indulge in the delightful Brazilian cuisine.
After the museum we sat down for the sunset and enjoyed some geladas (cold beers), and enjoyed the view.
