La Segunda Vez fue Hasta Mejor

Yesterday we went to visit the popular Dois Irmãos thanks to the well organized RioLIVE! events. We started off taking a moto-taxi through the favela to reach the hiking trail, a memorable experience I’ll never forget. Although the hike is short it’s well worth the ambiance of trekking through what feels like a forest. Once the peak is reached you are blessed with a unique breathtaking view of Rio that makes you want to spend the whole afternoon up there. The whole experience is one not to be forgotten and should be on any tourists radar. Additionally, the RioLIVE! aspect enables us to use recently learned vocabulary and grammar into real life experiences such as this beautiful hike. I’m very grateful that I chose Rio & Learn to not only learn Portuguese but also to learn this amazing city.

La primera vez fue genial, pero la segunda vez fue hasta mejor. Lo decimos porque todo el mundo que este día fue a esta RioLIVE! ya había ido antes al Morro Dois Irmãos. Además de las vistas, la excursión y la experiencia de saber un poco más de la favela que está camino de la excursión, pudimos ir por el camino más rápido, ¡teniendo así mas tiempo para disfrutar y practicar portugués que en la visita anterior! ¡Sin duda la segunda vez fue hasta mejor! 🙂
