RioLIVE! activities are really great to visit beautiful Rio de Janeiro and meeting Cariocas to practice Portuguese. Best of both worlds!

Nothing better than exploring and knowing the center of Rio de Janeiro in a beautiful sunny afternoon. We met at Rio & Learn and we went to the Uruguaiana metro station, where our RioLIVE! started. We saw the main avenues of this place, Presidente Vargas and Rio Branco.
The first historical place that we visited was Igreja da Candelária. After that, we passed by CCBB, Centro Cultural dos Correios, Travessa do Comércio, Arco do Telles and finishing at the most historical place in Brazil, Paço Imperial.
During the whole activity, our Portuguese students asked about many historical moments in Rio de Janeiro, practicing their Portuguese. We talked a lot and the students could learn new words and relevant vocabulary.
