Nous sommes allés visiter une favela de Rio où Michael Jackson a tourné un vidéoclip il y a plusieurs années. J´ai beaucoup apprécié la visite de cette communauté parce que cela s´est fait en toute simplicité et dans le respect des membres de la communauté. Nous sommes tous curieux de voir comment vivent les habitants des favelas de Rio. La favela de Santa Marta est l´une des plus sécuritaire de Rio et offre un point de vue magnifique sur la ville! Merci à Rio Live de nous avoir permis de vivre cette expérience!
Favela, Portuguese and Emotion. That was our RioLIVE! at this time, the Portuguese students of Rio & Learn visited one of the most popular favelas in Rio de Janeiro, Favela Santa Marta or also called Dona Marta.
Our students from The United States, Japan, Canada and Switzerland could have a closer contact on how these communities look like. In their opinion, the most interesting part was the contrast between the favela and the south part of the city, since this is richest one. They really liked the people there and how they enjoy life even with some difficulties.
