It was a great experience being able to join staff and other students playing beach soccer. The weather was really nice and it gave us a chance to practice our Portuguese outside the classroom setting. We got to learn more slang and other words you might not hear in class.

Nothing better than playing football with new and old friends on the beach in Copacabana. We say that because in our RioLIVE! at this time we had some new and old students that studied at Rio & Learn before playing with us. A good time to catch up, make new friends and speak Portuguese. They played tough and funny matches and could score a lot of goals. In the end they were just chillin’ by the sand, talking and knowing each other a little bit better.
