Venerdii siamo andati alla festa di Sao Cristovao, una festa tipica del Nord-Est del Brasile. Abbiamo mangiato cucina tipica, ballato il forro´, e perfino fatto un giro sugli autoscontri! Molto divertente!
Last friday we had a very funny RioLIVE!. We went to Centro Luiz Gonzaga de Tradições Nordestinas, also known as Feira de São Cristóvão. This fair promotes the culture and a lot of northeastern products. Besides that, it is a great place to dance forró and to know the popular northeastern cuisine.
We started our RioLIVE! remembering our childhood playing some “Bate-bate“. Then we talked a little bit about the fair’s history, we walked around the place seeing some products from different regions of Brazil, mainly the ones we could eat. At our dinner, nothing better than some “carne de sol” and “feijão tropeiro“.
We finished our RioLIVE! enjoying a nice forró concert. It was a nice opportunity for our Portuguese students to practicing their Portuguese. Come you too and take part in our RioLIVE! Activities.
