Vrijdag zijn we met een groep studenten van Rio&Learn naar “Feiras do Sao Cristovao” geweest, een soort pretpark voor volwassenen. In de Feiras kun je de cultuur van Noord Brazilie proeven. We hebben een ontzettend leuke avond gehad: we hebben traditioneel Braziliaans gegeten, caips gedronken, en de Forro dansles van RioLive geoefend op live muziek! Klap op de vuurpijl: een stevig potje Karaoke, met Yasuhiro en Kaio als absolute uitblinkers. Vamooooooos!
How about having fun at Feira de São Cristóvão. That’s what our Portuguese students did with our RioLIVE! last Friday, they had the opportunity to visit Feira de São Cristóvão, a very popular place to know more about the Brazilian Northeastern culture.
Our students from Norway, The Netherlands, Japan, Switzerland, Mexico and China were very excited to go there and have a little bit of partying since they spent the whole week studying Portuguese. We started our RioLIVE! walking around the place and seeing some stores offering typical food, drinks and candies, there are many different things to see and buy there, students loved everything. Then, we went to a good restaurant to have a typical northeastern dinner, they were really amazed with ‘Carne de Sol’ and the amount of food on the plate.
After having a great dinner, it was time to keep on having fun at Feira de São Cristóvão and shake our bodies with a good forró concert, our students could put in practice everything that they learned in our RioLIVE! of forró classes. They danced, drank and had a lot of fun together. Last but not least, we ended our night of fun at Feira de São Cristóvão singing in a karaoke inside the place. Our stars could use their voices and show their talent, we are sure that it was a night to remember.
