The Palácio do Catete was super duper amazing. It was very great for Rio and Learn to take us there to experience the history of Rio and it’s presidents. Our professor, Klauber, was also very knowledgeable on Brazil’s history, which made the experience even better.

We started the RioLIVE! with a visit to the Palace of the Republic. We got to know the presidents of Brazil who lived there when Rio was the political seat of the Republic in Brazil. Then, visited the room where President Vargas committed suicide with a bullet to his chest. We ended the day with a walk around the wonderful garden of the museum and the students discussed among themselves the importance of getting to know more about Brazil at Catete Palace.
While the students were getting to know more about Brazil at Catete Palace they were also learning Portuguese. So, when are YOU coming to join us in this amazing activity? We’re waiting for you!
