Today was a great day traveling to Porto Maravilha with my new friends from the school and our wonderful guide, Diogo! We rode the metro and walked through the city where we saw the contrast of both new and old architecture, strolled along the the Olympic Boulevard next to Guanabara bay, and after a pit stop for fresh água de coco we admired the beautiful graffiti including the famous Kobra mural. Our last destination was Museu de Amanhã which combines science with art in pretty and creative exhibits to make you think about the world and the future. It was a great way to see the city and continue practicing Portuguese outside of the classroom!

A great day at Porto Maravilha. This is what RioLIVE! offers to our students and today was no different! Walking about the streets of the Olympic Boulevard, admiring the art wall at Mural das Etnias and ending our trip visiting Museu do Amanhã. All of this while practicing Portuguese, interacting and having fun!
