Historical Center

Estudiantes de Portugues en una RioLIVE!

Our Portuguese students enjoying the historical center.

Portuguese students at Teatro Municipal - Rio

Potuguese students at RioLIVE!

Yesterday, our RioLIVE! was a cultural visit at Rio de Janeiro Historical Center. We started our visit around center at Uruguaiana metro station and we walked to Candelária Church right after, to talk about the history of the religion in Brazil. Our students from Venezuela, Germany, Switzerland, Colombia and Austria were really happy with this visit and were hungry for more information.

After that, we went to the Correios Cultural Center (CCC). We walked by downtown streets (colonial style) talking in Portuguese, of Rio de Janeiro as the Brazilian capital. We went to the Paço Imperial, for many people, the most historical part of Rio. Many histotical facts as the Dia do Fico, Lei Áurea happened at Paço Imperial.

We finished our RioLIVE! at Cinelândia in front of  Teatro Municipal having some beers and caipirinhas. And you? What are you waiting for to learn Portuguese, meet Rio and have fun with our RioLIVE! Activities?!
