Twitter (X) Teacher at Rio & Learn

Do you love Portuguese, X, and connecting with people from all over the world? Then this job is for you! At Rio & Learn, we’re looking for our new Twitter Teacher (X Teacher) to bring the magic of Portuguese learning to our amazing followers on X (formerly Twitter).

What’s the role?

As our Twitter Teacher, you’ll be the voice of Rio & Learn on X! You’ll teach Portuguese through fun posts, creative threads, cool challenges, and maybe even some memes. 😉 You’ll also interact with our community, answer questions, and make learning Portuguese feel easy, exciting, and 100% Rio-style.

Whether you’re in Rio (in-person + online classes) or in another big Brazilian city (online only), you’ll help our followers fall in love with Portuguese — and with Brazil!

Responsibilities: What will you do?

• Teach Portuguese to our followers directly on Twitter/X.
• Create engaging posts, threads, polls, and interactions in line with Rio & Learn’s fun, emotional, and cool style.
• Give both in-person and online classes if you’re in Rio — or online-only classes if you live elsewhere.
• Spread Brazilian energy across the timeline so people feel they’re in Brazil with every tweet.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the content aligns with our brand and educational goals.
• Stay trendy by keeping up with conversations, hashtags, and trends on X and turning them into fun, engaging Portuguese-learning moments.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, interacting with our community, and building a strong online presence for Rio & Learn on X.

Qualifications: What are we looking for?

• A fun and creative teacher who loves teaching Portuguese.
• A degree in any field or currently studying.
• Professional experience on X and an understanding of Twitter culture (threads, memes, hashtags, and trends are your playground).
• Advanced English skills.
• Understanding of how to utilise AI.
• Great communication skills (in English and Portuguese).
• Flexibility to adapt classes to students’ needs and to Rio & Learn’s vibe.
• Social, curious, and ready to share the joy of Brazil every day.
