Today we went hiking around the Lagoa, a beautiful natural spot in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro. We first hiked up one of the mountains in Parque das catacumbas and saw a beautiful view from several points on top. Afterwards, we walked around the entire Lagoa during sunset, where we could see Christ the Redeemer, Ipanema and Leblon, clubs, and much more. It was a great afternoon!

Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas is one of the most popular places in Rio and Lagoa can always surprise you, we say that because no matter how beautiful it is, you will certainly feel amazed by this place. That’s how our Portuguese students felt visiting it with RioLIVE! We started our visit at Parque da Catacumba, an open and natural place that allows its visitors to have a panoramic view of the neighborhood. After that, we finished our visit walking around Lagoa and admiring its beauty and the sunset having a great conversation in Portuguese.
