It was a wonderful sunny day in Rio de Janeiro and we took at a bike path of about 7,5 kilometers around
Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. Cycling at Lagoa provided us beautiful views, much fun and Portuguese practice. Once we got to lagoa we talked about the history of the place so students could practice their Portuguese. Besides cycling, Lagoa is a great venue to other sports, along the bike path we saw people on roller blades, skates and also running. Futhermore, it was possible to see the rowing stadiums of
Flamengo and
Botafogo too.
After we’ve finished the track we were astonished with the beauty of the place and we ended up drinking some Coconut water at a kiosk in the constant presence of nature, so we could see capybaras which lived there . It was a really incredible experience.
