Yesterday we went with our students to the theatre to practice Portuguese together. We went to Teatro Laura Alvim in Ipanema, a beautiful and bohemian place that it’s ideal to have a coffee, to chat, to watch movies and to enjoy theatre plays and culture. Our students practized their Portuguese before and after the play as real Cariocas.
The play was part of a Festival to promote Portuguese language (Festlip) that have plays in different kinds of Portuguese language from Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique… We went to watch ‘A Dama do Mar’ a Brazilian version of a famous Norwegian play.
