Museu de Arte do Rio
After a little bit of sadness because the bad weather, we decided together to change our Niterói’s RioLIVE! Activity for Museu de Arte do Rio. We were able there to know a new Rio’s museum opened just this 2013. We all agreed that the two buildings architecture combined was the best part of these Carioca’s museum.
The museum has two buildings with two different architecture styles that are connected by a corridor at the top of the buildings.
After enjoying the museum and learning some new things about Rio’s history, we went to visit Pedra do Sal that is a place where was placed a slave market some century ago and that nowadays is one of the most important samba places in Rio de Janeiro. We will visit it soon to listen some samba 😉
Before visiting the Museum we pass by Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Candelária, where we took a group picture.
See all the pictures below and discover how it is.
