कल हम लोग नितिरोय नाम के पर्यटन स्थल गए थे।करिओका के मेट्रो स्टेशन पर उतर कर हम एक व्यस्त चौराहे से गुज़रे जहाॅ अनेक पुराचीन ऐतिहासिक इमारतें थीं जिनमेॅ कण्डलाब्रा का गिरिजा विशेष अाकर्षक था और पूर्व राज महल का बाहरी आंगन की भव्यता तथा वहां स्थापित बृहदाकार मूर्तियां विशेष चित्तग्राही थींकरिओका से नैका यान द्वारा हमारी टोली निततरोय गई। वहां से बस पकड़ कर फिर हम नितिरोय उतरे जो चढ़ाई पर था। वहां की ठण्डी हवा और क्वचित् मैला समंदर किनारा हमारी थकावट को सहज ही दूर कर रहा था। कुछ ब्राज़ीलियन् परिवार वहां टहल रहे थे और कुछ नहा रहे थे। वहां कुछ लोग मछली पकड़ने के लिए फिशिंग नेट ले के फिशिंग भी कर रहे थेकिनारे पर बृहत् काले पत्थर रोचक थे। कुछ युवतियां रोचक शैली में अपनी फोटो खिचवा रही थीं।
In our RioLIVE! at this time we visited the city of Niterói, which is just beside Rio de Janeiro. Known as Cidade Sorriso (Smile City), Niterói is one of best cities to live. Being one of the main financial centers of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
The access between the two cities can be done in two ways: by the Rio-Niterói Bridge or the ferry boats. We decided to take the second one. On the way, we could the see the beauties of Guanabara’s Bay. Another interesting fact is to pass next to the airport when the plane is taking off.
In Niterói, we saw MAC (Contemporary Art Museum), a great project of the very famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. We walked around the city enjoying a different view of Rio de Janeiro. In the end, nothing better than sitting at a quiosque, drinking beer, watching the sunset and the best part, practicing Portuguese.
