L’activite de stand up paddle a ete tres amusant, un peu diffcile au debut de trouver son equilibre mais une fois reussi, cela permet d’avoir une vue particuliere de Rio et de son fameux Pain de Sucre,  Je vous le conseille vivement!

After a long cloudy week, the sun has finally returned. So, our RioLIVE! today was at the Copacabana’s beach. We practiced a sport that is becoming very popular on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, the Stand up Paddle Surf. Different from the conventional surfing, paddle surf doesn’t need waves to be practiced , only water. We left the school and walked by the beach until the sport’s training school. For many students it was the first contact ever. The instructor taught how to use the board and the oar. In the beginning, it was hard, a lot of falls, but, they showed awesome performances after.

It was an amazing activity, because we could enjoy beautiful landscapes of Rio de Janeiro from a different angle. In the end, we shared (in Portuguese) all of our feelings in that moment. Come and try our RioLIVE! Activites.
