The Park offers a gorgeous contrast between the modernity and chaos of the big city with a peaceful, old and beautiful landscape. A very cool aspect of the park is that, inside the mansion (where you have the classes and expositions), you can also find a restaurant with very reasonable prices, garnished with a pool (that cannot be used ?) and an amazing view of the Christ statue. It’s a very good place to sit, relax and enjoy good food with a cool view.
Beauties to Explore Parque Lage in Rio

The Park also has an aquarium in mortar, where stones mimic the trunks of trees. Bridges, benches, kiosks and a cave make up the artistic beauty of the park. There are saibro paths (special mix of sand, rocks and clay, like that of the tennis court) that take visitors to certain places with abundant vegetation and a lake, known as Lago dos Patos (“Duck’s Lake”).
In a city famous for its beaches, it is truly a great surprise when you can discover such a beautiful small park with plenty of vegetation. The perfect set up for a pleasant cultural walk, practice Portuguese with your colleagues, meet new people and truly relax amid the nature. So, what do you think? Join us on today’s RioLIVE! Activity and let’s explore it!
