El beach volley es una actividad muy buena porque brinda un momento para divertirse con los de la escuela y con los profesores que participan. Además uno puede practicar portugues mientras que juega el partido y conocer a los otros estudiantes más: y lo más importante es que uno puede disfrutar de hacer una actividad en la playa.

Even without the sun we had our RioLIVE! with a lot of Portuguese, fun and beach volley. We met at Rio & Learn, which is very close to the beach, to have fun playing some volley matches. The students Gonzalo (Chile) and Andres (Colombia) split the students into 2 teams with 6 players each.

On the first set, Gonzalo’s team won, but on the second Andre’s team got back on their feet and beat them. So we started our last set to see who would be the winners. Gonzalo’s team was losing 18 to 24, but in an amazing turnover they managed to win the game. The team counted with the teachers Pablo and Igor, Lara (Germany), Mariana (Colombia), Sami (Switzerland) and the captain Gonzalo (Chile).
Besides all the fun, our RioLIVE! was perfect to speak Portuguese. The students practiced the language all the time, and when they didn’t know something, they asked how to say it.
