L’excursion ce jeudi était Urca, un joli quartier universitaire au pied du Pão de Açúcar, la fameuse coline qui surplombe la ville. Nous avons profité du soleil sur la plage, puis nous nous sommes baladés le long de la baie. Encore une bonne fin de journée avec RioLIVE!.

Yesterday we enjoyed the carioca heat at Praia Vermelha. It was the perfect day to be on the beach relaxing and talking in Portuguese with Rio & Learn students. Praia Vermelha is located at the bottom of Pão de Açúcar, one of the main landmarks in Rio de Janeiro. The local view is one of the greatest at Cidade Maravilhosa.
After that, we walked by the neighborhood of Urca around Guanabara Bay. The sky was blue and it helped to have an amazing view. We finished our RioLIVE! at Bar da Urca, one of the most traditional bars in Rio. That’s a meeting place for cariocas to drink some beers at Mureta da Urca.
