The activity yesterday was a trip to the botanical garden. it was my first day learning portuguese so I tried my best to understand everything the other students were telling in the garden. The moment we walked in I felt how good it feels to be surrounded by nature. There was a lot to see and to discover. It´s great that places like this exist in a city like Rio de Janeiro. I´m sure that I want to come back to this place to look around and relax.

On a beautiful sunny Monday, nothing better than relaxing at Jardim Botânico. A great and beautiful place to speak Portuguese. We met at Rio & Learn and we went by bus until Jardim Botânico. On the way, the students took some time to talk about their adventures on the weekend.
In the beginning of this RioLIVE! the old students talked to Julia (who had her first day at school) about the importance of the RioLIVE!, that we always talk in Portuguese and how important it is for the learning process. When we started walking around the garden, we talked about the history of the place and what Jardim Botânico represents.
It was wonderful to have this contact with nature at the same time that we talked in Portuguese. Come you too to take part in our RioLIVE! Activities.
