“It was an unforgettable experience! Sailing along the coast of Rio de Janeiro allowed me to see the city from a totally new angle. The Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer in the background, the blue sea, the wind in my face… everything was just perfect.”
Sam Matyjasik, The U.S.A
Our students had an incredible experience at the Navy Cultural Space. The tour began with an immersive journey into Brazilian naval history, where they explored historic vessels, submarines, and interactive exhibits showcasing life at sea. The real adventure, however, was the boat trip around Guanabara Bay. From the water, they enjoyed breathtaking views of iconic landmarks like Sugar Loaf Mountain, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, and Ilha Fiscal, the site of the Empire’s last ball. Beyond taking in the scenery, they also gained insights into navigation, maritime history, and the importance of ocean conservation.
