Meaning of Run in Portuguese

The verb and substantive for run in Portuguese are different. When we are talking about run as a verb of action, we use the word “correr”. Correr is a regular verb that ends in -ER. The noun for running is “corrida”. However, this is a very broad, general term, and, as you’ll read below, we have many variations.

Conjugation of Run in Portuguese

The verb run in Portuguese is also frequently because a couple of expressions use this verb, such as “correr risco” (when you’re ”risking something”) and “correr atrás” (when you ”chase or go after something,” e.g. a goal). C'est vraiment fantastique...RioAndLearn. Les cours de portugais...ça vaut vraiment la peine. Les cours ont lieu du lundi au vendredi, (de 9h à 13h) et en après midi, ce sont des activités libres en groupe. (Soccer de plage, volleyball , excursions, visites des lieux touristiques, etc) Vendredi soir, on est allé à Lapa, un quartier nocturne de Rio. C'est quelque chose à voir! Des rues bondées de monde, des orchestres, des discothèques...Allô les décibels! L'apprentissage du portugais se fait en immersion, aussi bien en salle de classe que dans les activités extérieures organisées par Rio&Learn.
