Selfie at Catete

Before BrasΓlia, the capital of Brazil was Rio de Janeiro. Catete’s Palace was the official government’s building. So, in our RioLIVE! at this time, we gathered history with the natural beauties of Catete’s Park.
We started our RioLIVE! walking around the park and enjoying the moment speaking Portuguese a lot. The place is surrounded by buildings, what gives a mixture of big city and nature.
After that, we visited the Palace and our Portuguese students could get more information about the country’s history. Mainly about GetΓΊlio Vargas, for many people, one of the best presidents in Brazil. This is also the place where he did his suicide.
It was a lively afternoon in Rio de Janeiro, come you too and take part in our RioLIVE! Activities.
