The visit to Lagoa was excellent, combining exercise with great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The lake is busy with sailing and rowing boats and helicopters taking off and landing for tourist scenic flights. Coconut water is on-tap to keep cool. There is plenty of Brazil`s flora and fauna on display as well as Cariocas going about their business. There is so much to see and talk about to expand your Portuguese vocabulary – I highly recommend this RioLIVE! activity!

Nothing better than a beautiful sunny day in Rio! This is the perfect weather to join RioLIVE! and explore the city. Our students visited Lagoa, but the weather was so cool that they even said it was a shiny lagoon! After visiting Parque Natural da Catacumba with its amazing views, we took a stroll around the lagoon and enjoyed the moment with a lot of Portuguese and fun!
