RioLIVE! Pedra do Sal. Musician playing the drums. People singing. Happy people. Percussion. Samba. Samba percussionist
Percussionist bringing up the energy

Have you ever felt like shouting ” slavery never again !” in respect to those who have been kept in captivity all around the world? Although Rio has this everlasting energy of happiness and positivity, even a night out in the hearts of the city can be a good occasion for meditating on the history of our ancestors. For a long time Rio has been a model of the European society overseas and therefore a slavocrat one. The shout of liberty that is in the Samba compositions of today is in memory of the mistakes committed back then. Slavery Never Again !
