What a great introduction to Rio! My first day at rio&learn and after our morning classes a group students headed to Praia de Botafogo; with our fantastic guide Sylvia!!
After a quick intro on how to get around using the Rio metro we arrived at Largo do Machado station. We then took in the amazing views while walking towards Botafogo beach, taking the opportunity to chat and practice our Portuguese as we went.
We finished our trip with the stunning view of Botafogo and the Sugar Loaf from the top floor of the nearby shopping centre, a stop I would definitely recommend avid shoppers to check out!

This summer afternoon in Rio de Janeiro, we went with RioLIVE! know Botafogo beach, to see the most beautiful view of this city. We walked along the waterfront knowing the neighborhoods: Largo do Machado, Flamengo and finally Botafogo. At the end, we ended our tour anjoying the most beautiful view of the Sugarloaf from the top of Botafogo Praia Shopping.
