Nestled on a hilltop, Santa Teresa is like a hidden gem here in Rio. The narrow cobblestone streets, colorful colonial houses, and stunning views of the city create an enchanting atmosphere. We indulged in some delicious feijoada, admired captivating street art, and soaked up the bohemian vibes of the charming neighborhood. A must visit!

This is the best neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro! That is what one of our students said while visiting Santa Teresa in this latest RioLIVE! He is not wrong, actually, Santa Teresa is in fact one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Rio, along with the tram ride, the views from downtown, the delicious feijoada at Bar do Mineiro and Selaron stairway at the end of our visit.
