Have you heard of the neighborhood of Urca? It is one of the smallest neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, and also one of the safest. Small beaches, beautiful houses, colorful sea landscape with Cristo, a cold Brazilian beer and a nice breeze. Is one of the nicest neighborhoods to spend an afternoon in Rio de Janeiro.
On the top of Urca you have the first stop of Bondinho do Pão de Açúcar but on the bottom, there is a lot more to enjoy that all the tourists on the top of Pão de Açúcar don’t know exist.
On this RioLIVE! Activity we will start our visit at one of the nicest beaches in Rio de Janeiro, Praia Vermelha. After relaxing for a while, we will walk around Morro da Urca enjoying the different points of view of the landscape and the beautiful small houses. We will stop in the beautiful Praia da Urca to rest a little bit and after that we will continue the walk until the end of the road, where we will stop to sit down with the sea at our feet, sharing a good gelada as we chat and enjoy the beautiful colours of Rio’s afternoon.
