Beach Volleyball… immer eine gute Idee, um sich den letzten Rest Jetlag aus den Knochen zu schuetteln. Gut, dass die Schule nur 1 Minute vom Strand entfernt liegt. Die Sonne kam auch endlich mal raus und somit ein prima Tag, um sich ein bisschen sportlich zu betaetigen. Wie auch sonst ging es mehr um den Spass als um ernsthaftes Spiel, und so hatten wir vielleicht nicht die perfekte Technik, aber in jedem Fall eine prima B-Note – und die paar Bierchen danach hatten wir uns in jedem Fall verdient… was man halt so macht an der Copacabana.

After two days raining in Rio de Janeiro, the sun came out again. So, we went to the beach to play some Beach Volley. As it was very hot, three things were important to practice this sport: Willing, Water and Sunblock. We started the match with a bout among men and women. But, we changed our teams many times.
We talked about the sport’s vocabulary and we also practiced our Portuguese. We had a lot a fun. We finished our afternoon with some beers and caipirinhas at a quiosque in Copacabana.
