The World Cup is the most popular event when we talk about sports in Brazil, There are the Olympics, but the World Cup is still the event that Brazilians like to watch, even those who don’t like football very much. And this year, this event is happening here in Brazil, There are matches being played all over the country with the best football players in the planet.

Yesterday our RioLIVE! was to watch one of the Brazilian’s Team match, FIFA created a place at Copacabana’s beach called Fifa Fan Fest, where people can go to watch the World Cup and also enjoy some live music concerts. Our students from England, Germany, Ghana and USA had one more time this experience of watching the Brazilian Team match, this time Brazil played against Cameroun. For many people, it would be an easy match because Cameroun didn’t have chances to pass to the playoffs anymore, but it was a very hard one for Brazil, the challengers gave the Brazilian team a hard time when Brazil scored first and just some minutes they got a draw. After the first half, with many fouls and good moments, Brazil could finally score and took over the match winning with a final score of 4 x 1.

In the end everybody was relaxed because Brazil could win and qualify to the next phase of the World Cup where they are going to face Chile. Our students were very happy and satisfied with this victory and some of them hoping that their countries don’t meet Brazil until the final match.
