Feel like seeing something new? One of the world’s most famous touristic attractions is at your doorstep! Let’s see it together!!!
Join us in today’s RioLIVE! Activity and let’s go with all our fellow students to the second most famous touristic place in Rio de Janeiro, Pão de açúcar. Our Rio de Janeiro’s Bondinho is celebrating more than 100 years! The original cable car line was built in 1912 and rebuilt around 1973 and 2008.

We will take two cable cars, one to the top of Morro de Urca and one to the top of Pão de Açúcar. At both stops, we will enjoy beautiful views and we can take amazing photos of Rio de Janeiro’s many different landscapes. We will probably see some climbers going up on one of the most beautiful places to practice rock climbing. With some luck, our fellow Capuchin monkeys will come to say hi to us!
