Sunset and Drinks
The fort was very interesting, I think its great that a city keeps its history for others to enjoy and learn. In Australia they probably would have knocked it down and sold the land to build houses by now. I will definately go to the fort again and spend more time there. I also learned that there are 14 forts around Rio which you can still visit so I will be adding this to my list of things to see. The sunset at Arpoador was amazing as usual, the company of my fellow classmates was great and the beer was cold.

After a lot of clouds and rain, the sun appeared once again in Rio de Janeiro. So, we took this opportunity to make a visit at Forte de Copacabana and study a little bit about Brazilian history. This is a great place to take pictures of cariocas’ landscapes.
After this moment, we went to Ipanema’s beach to drink some beers and refresh a little bit. In the end, we walked until Pedra do Arpoador and we could see the beautiful landscapes that this place offers. We sat on the stone talking in Portuguese and enjoying an amazing sunset that Pedra do Arpoador offers. It was a nice opportunity for former Rio & Learn’s students to know the new students. So, the only thing we had left was clapping our hands for that amazing natural show with other people that wer attending there. It was a great afternoon.
