Vinerea trecuta am vizitat Pedra do Sal, un loc magic unde poti asculta samba live si bineinteles samba (dansa samba). Este un loc ideal pentru a cunoaste cultura afro-braziliana. Istoria la Piedra do Sal este sculptata si pictata in pereti si trepte, si asta face acest loc unic. Deasemenea localnicii sunt foarte primitori si veseli, iar distractia este garantata. Nu poti rata noptile de luni si vineri la Pedra do Sal.

Last Friday night we had our Christmas Eve at Pedra do Sal. It was a great opportunity for our students to meet the famous Pedra do Sal, the cradle of the carioca samba. As we were hungry we went to a restaurant in front of Pedra do Sal with typical Brazilian dishes. It was fun because we could speak a lot of Portuguese and get to know each other better.
Right after that we went to a Roda de Samba (Samba jamming session) at Pedra do Sal that had a Christmas Eve environment. The energy was contagious and even those who didn’t know how to dance tried some steps here and there. Besides dancing, our students tried singing in Portuguese.
To have a great ending for our night we went to a Funk party and participate in a passinhos challenge (a competition of funk steps). It was a really fun night we are crazy about coming back to Pedra do Sal.
